Drake Chords

He’s one of the greatest performers of his time! Born in Toronto, Canada on October 24, 1986, as Aubrey Drake Graham, this hip hop artist didn’t start ranking the charts with sweet Drake chords as we now know him. His career took off as an actor in the television series "Degrassi: The Next Generation." This Canadian teen drama dating back to the early 21st century is all about the troubles teenagers encounter and often are seen as taboo. Drake left the series after dropping his mixtape full of mellow chord progressions Room For Improvement followed by Comeback Season and So Far Gone in the period between 2007 and 2009. His tracks lit a fire in the new generation and Young Money Entertainment saw his potential and signed the artist.

Now when we think of great musicians, it's mostly in hindsight, but looking at the statistics, it is undeniable that Drake is one of the best-selling music artists of his time. This guy sold over 170 million records, and that’s a lot of albums. But luckily most of it is digital and that’s why the Recording Industry Association of America has crowned him the world’s highest-certified digital singles artist. Now that has to count for something. Drake is a singer, songwriter, producer, actor and… businessman. Yeah, that’s right, in 2012 he founded his own record label together with his friend and music companion Noah James Shabib. Interested in Drake’s go-to chords?
